Think Quentin Tarantino has another good movie or two in him?

Why limit him to one or two? This guy has never made a bad movie. Death Proof was pretty cool, I know a lot of people hated it, but it was still a lot better than most other movies.

He'll probably make at least 3 more movies, unless he gets tired of making them or something.

Many did not understand the process behind making the Grindhouse films.

Ya, Grindhouse was kick ass. You have to have a taste when it comes to the underground cult flick style movie to really appreciate it though.

Agreed, although Peter Jackson is up there too.

Yeah man, totally. Steven Spielberg as well. Fuck director's that make critically acclaimed movies. They're all hacks.

Sure! He hasn't made a good one yet but, maybe the 18th time is the charm.

The edginess in your post (and the other posts like it) has cut me deep. Pulp Fiction almost won Best Picture that year, but was beat out by A Beautiful Mind. Not one of the Academy's best years in the opinion of many.

Agree. It just goes to show that there's nothing that gratuitous violence, excessive blood, drug usage and cussing and Samuel L. Jackson can't cover up in an otherwise boring movie. His shtick is stale and I think it's time for him to do something relatively out of character.

That being said, I still enjoy many of his films.

So you want to see a QT romantic comedy?

I said out of character, not polar opposite.

A dark/black comedy wouldn't be entirely out of the question. Maybe more of a thriller or a mystery type movie.

It's about delving into something you don't have exposure to in order to see how you can expand on the genre or give it your own personal touch.

Dude, that was an amazing year for the Academy. They awarded best picture to a movie 7 years before it was released!

FYI, Pulp Fiction came out in 1994, the year Forrest Gump won Best Picture. A Beautiful Mind was released in 2001.

Haha, whoops. I knew it was a movie that I have no desire to watch again. Forrest Gump was a little bit better of a movie though.

The jealousy and hate is strong in this thread.

I hope he makes Machete. "They messed with the wrong Mexican!"
