Ive gota bunch of .exes affected by some virus, but norton isnt detecting it. However, I did install norton after I was infected.

Im going to want to reformat, think I can safely burn a few CDs of MP3s before doing so?

when i had a problem, my ez cd creator read the errors in mp3's when i tried burning, so it really wasn't an issue, i just deleted all the "affected" files and put the rest on cd, 9 cd's actually :)

generally speaking, i would say so... speaking from personal experience, i had a virus that overwrote my mp3 files with themselves. luckily it wasnt too many. in your case, i would say theres no problem. if you plan on reformatting anyway what do you have to lose?

edit - drunk and cant think well
