I was at an auction this morning(one where they auction off the unclaimed luggage), and they had an ibm thinkpad p3 was all I knew was inside. and a mac powerbook(I think thats what you call um) I got a good look at the mac, and it was in mint condition, no scratches, etc, and looked fairly new. Only thing is that there is no guarantee that theese will work, and are sold as is. THe mac was in a case, with some other accesory. I bid on both, the thinkpad ended up going for $350+tax+10%auctionfee. Which in total would be $400. I stopped at $300. The notebook however, I went up to $550 and it ended at $570+tax and fee=roughly $640. All I could tell was that the powerbook had like 5 usb slots, and has a narrow screen(13' wide, and was not very high) , and all the slots on the bottom were filled(battery, etc) Only if I knew my macs. Think I lost out? or made the right desicion?
