Nah....she wouldn't care.......she will sit and tell everyone she meets the story of her and the jackass. Waiters, waitresses, store clerks, anyone she thinks that will listen. My opinion is that she tells everyone so that she can hopefully find someone that agrees with her actions.

 
I didn't read that whole thing, but I think you went a little overboard.

You expressed your concern which was nice, but you should have left it at that.

Hehe, I hear ya. They'll talk your head off with their "problems"(often I haven't a clue why they are so upset 😀 ), then they seem to ask for your input on the matter, you offer it to them, and then they do whatever kind of thing they had already decided to do in the first place. *shrug* I learned just to watch hockey and interject the occassional, "uh huh", works perfectly. 😀

I was thinking the exact same thing. I used to know a girl that dated guys like the one this chick has been seeing. She always blamed herself for relationship problems, had almost no self-esteem, she always thought she was too fat (5' 7" and about 105lbs), always had to be with someone (except for me since I was a "friend") etc. etc. After about 7 years of hearing the same things again and again I finally gave up on her.

I think she finally realized she needed to change some things after a guy she had been seeing for a few years got her pregnant and then left her for an 18 year old chick. She told me about that shortly after the guy left her. While we were talking before I could even say it she said "I know, you told me so", which is right. That was the last time I talked to her.

She ended up for years with the loser who got her pregnant, wouldn't work, slept around and eventually left her. I ended up with my wife of now 3 years, a nice older house which we own, and a beautiful 2 year old son. 🙂

So shinerburke, unless you REALLY like her, tell her your piece, be there if she needs it, and go find someone else to be your sig. other. Cause there's almost no way she's going to let you two hook up 'cause you're the kind of guy she needs. She'll do everything in her power to keep you "as a friend" at best and the a$$holes in like Flynn.

I've known her for a number of years. She actually used to be a level headed person but this guy has some sort of hold over her. None of us, her friends, see why either. Her female friends are always commenting about how he's not very attractive, has no style, and is a jackass. Meanwhile her male friends all see him for the abusive jackass player that he is. We all have no idea why she doesn't see it.

I think you sort of misunderstood. I'm not interested in her as anything more than a friend. In fact I have a girlfriend that I've been seeing for a couple of years now. I just care about "Julie" because she's a good friend.
