I'm Getting ***STOP*** ERRORS in windows 2000 pro. Blue screen of death.
A couple Bad_Pool_Caller errors and a KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR and it says beginning dump of physical memory.
Dumping physical memory to disk #1 and then it starts counting up from one ?
so I reboot . It seems to happen when using my cd-rom. But not everytime. I just installed a game installed ok but when I go to play it, it just shuts down
to the desk top. Tried reinstalling it and got a ***STOP***ERROR Bad_Pool_Caller .
I have a fresh format and install of 2000 with all the updates
I think its my cd-rom but not sure is there anyway to tell what is causing this?

not sure if win 2000 is like xp but admin tools/event viewer

on xp

start /control panel/performance and maintainance/administrative tools/event viewer

I have no problems running all thease tests at the same time. So maybe it is windows?
