Think I got too many blank DVDs

Ordered up a 50 pack of DVD 4x +R's from blankmedia the other day and decided to head to futureshop today for their boxing day sale. I seen 200 packs of DVD 4x +R's on sale for $59 (canadian) so I picked up two packages. When I got home, my 50pack was sitting on the door step. Now I am sitting here with 450 blank DVDs.. i'll never use all of these in my life time.

Sad thing is, I paid $40 for the 50 pack

There not too bad actually, they are BenQ/Mitsumi. I had a 100 pack of the same brand a few months ago and didn't have any bad burns. The 50 pack are Ritek's

I only bought 1 pack of the 200 BenQ 8x DVD+R from Future Shop on Boxing day. And since Sunday, I have actually already used 15 of them backing up some HD video clips. So the way I'm using the disks, I will be done my 200 spindle sometime around next May/June.

I have a 100 pack of Ritek G05s on the way and I'm thinking about buying a 100 pack of Ritek DVD+Rs also.

I keep buying blank DVDs when they are on sale but haven't used them yet. I don't know what the heck is wrong with me. It's like I've become a hoarder or something.

 to cheap media.

I buy moderatly cheap media... ($80 Canadian for 200 DVD's) and I have yet to have a single problem...

Maybe your burner sucks.

I paid $27 for a 100 pack of Ritek DVD+R from newegg... you really need to return that 50 pack.
