I know everyone says not to go over 1000mhz for HTT, but im planning to run my 3500+ winchester at 260x10.... with a multiplier of 4 it gives me 1040HTT?

I don't have the god damn MB here because they aren't in stock anywhere, but do you think just 40mhz over will give me trouble???

Anyone have experience (its going to be on the GigaSLI board).

Yeah I had my boot at 1100...I didn't see a difference in really anything....probably safe. I have seen others have them close to 1200...You can probably bet there is 10% within that number to play with for some board so it should be fine...

They recomend the 1000 because of stability mainly.

Of course it may vary. Some will run fine @1100, others can have problems @1040.

If it works, don't fix it.
