Things you've found that don't belong in your rig

I was wondering how normal it is to find things living in your computer. I've never had this problem before, but a couple of months ago I found a tiny tiny spider living next to my PSU in my P180. Tonight I opened the dust filter to see if it needed to be changed, and I found a gigantic centipede looking thing, it was probably about 3 inches long. I got a fly swatter and managed to get it on so I could toss it outside. I don't like killing things, other than flying bugs, so I try to avoid it when possible. Also, really big bugs tend to leave really obvious carpet stains.

Any one else with stories?

Nothing exciting I guess, just dust and dried up broken rubber band shards.

that centipede thing sounds like a silverfish but they like damp places mostly.

leave your pc on and the fans may kill the critters.

Working on PC's I've seen roach infestations and grand daddy long leg spiders (along with various other spiders). Some people are just nasty.

One machine I took outside today to blow out with our shop vac because I literally could not see the color of the PCB's. When I was done there were multiple 6 inch diameter "mini tumbleweeds" of dust rolling around me.

Well, I'd rather not have bug guts all over my computer, but it's not like I go actively hunting them, I just notice them if they're there when I'm working in my case.

As for the centepide thing, I just checked Google images and apparently it WAS a centipede. It wasn't inside the case per se, it had crawled through the plastic cover for the fan intake and was walking around on the outside-the-case portion of the filter.
