The ironic part is, right now its kinda fun working on my parents' house but I think it'll quickly become a PITA when I get my own house.
 
best thing I modded was a friends potato launcher, we went from denting 55 gallon barells to blasting 10" holes through them (@ 15 feet, potatoes aren't very airo-dynamic) 😛

No offense, but that sounds like complete B.S. Aside from not being very aerodynamic, potatoes are not very hard... what did you do to the potato launcher to make it allegedly do that?
 
LOL,

We increased the length of the barrel from something like 2ft to 6ft, and enlarged the gas chamber (from an 8in. pipe to a 12in. pipe of the same lenght, we then changed the ignition from a small cigarette lighter sparker to an electrical arc sparker used for lighting blow torches. we switched the fuel from wd-40 to hair net hair spray (which really put a boost in the output) we got about 10-12 shots out of it before we blew up the joint between the barrel and the gas chamber, after the resulting explosion we decided to never do anything that stupid again. (we had to mount it to a few square bales of hey to help with the recoil and aim, give a hick a challenge and we'll use every inch of bailing wire we have to get the job done.)

(I just wish digital cameras had been invented at the time, not like we could have afforded anything that fancy, cause we couldn't even aford film for my 110 camera after we shelled out $1.50 for the hair spray)

that should have been 15ft, not 15yards.
