the only link I can find is on Myspace, so sorry, I chuckled. This would be me if I ever was to get a Yellow Belt in some form of Martial Arts and was approached by a mugger.

Usually those clothes don't have a place to put your purse :p

And regarding yellow belt karate I have to agree that it's better to drop your purse and run than to try and fight. But yellow belt Krav Maga is slightly more competent in such a situation (although you are still taught that it is better in such a situation to give your purse than to risk your life if you are not yet good enough to do techniques succesfully).

My wife and I studied Krav-Maga for several years (We even got to meet Imi !)
First thing we were taught was to always assume that the other person is either armed or better than you, so fighting should only be a last resort.

I actually miss the bloody knuckles, bruised shins + arms & sore muscles.
