What to get to stock it?

Rum, Vodka, Midori...

how much money you got?

don't forget the little things like those little cans of juice, bottles of soda and tonic, olives and BEER NUTS.

Really depends on your budget and how wide a selection you want to have.
Are you going to have big parties where you want to be able to make a thousand different drinks, or are you just going to be hanging out with the guys?
For me, I'd be happy with just Rum, Vodka, Kahlua, and Bailey's. Maybe throw in some Gin and Tequila for when i feel like a Long Island.

As it stands i'll probably buy 4-6 bottles now and i'll add 1 a week. that way i'll end up having a pretty good size selection w/o being broke.

thanks for the suggestions guys =)

i'll be sure to take a pic when it's done haha

rum - (i like dark rum.. but maybe you want a bottle of light and dark.)
vodka - (get something actually made in russia or poland.. moskovskaya is good)
whisky - (rye, scotch, bourbon.. one of each)
brandy - (your pick. there is good brandy that doesnt cost an arm and a leg)
gin - (blue bomba is my fav. dont like gin all that much though)

and then finish it off with some liqeuer-ish stuff
schnaaps
khalua (sp?)
drambuie
triple sec
jagermeister

etc..

That should keep you busy.

Jack Daniels is not real whisky, it's sour mash, aka, bourbon. The recipe is the same, only the final filtration is different from the true bourbon methods. To legally be called bourbon in the US it has to be produced in Kentucky. Anything distilled according to bourbon recipes, but produced outside of Kentucky will usually call itself sour mash whiskey, but it's the same as bourbon. Real "whiskey" is made from different blends of more rye and less corn and tastes different. Essentially, having JD and Maker's Mark is akin to having both Absolut and Stoli vodka, 2 bottles of the same stuff made in different places with only marginal differences. A better bet would be to have EITHER JD, Maker's Mark, Wild Turkey or Old Granddad and a bottle of true whiskey like Seagram's 7 or V.O.

Jose, of the 1800 variety!
That'll put some hair... well, wherever you need it😛

Honestly the last time I tried that stuff (1800) I couldn't tell any difference between it and the regular Jose. The only thing I noticed was the price difference (I picked it up for an ex-gf who insisited I get it over regular Jose). I can tell a difference between beers, though. I guess Jose isn't for me?
