Who said anything about it being boring?
We are going through every major Canadian city, and to most any interesting place in between as well. There will be a hell of a lot of downtime though, and we want to think of what we might fill that time with now as opposed to leaving having thought of nothing.![]()
If it weren't boring, the entertainment would be self-contained in the camping

get over yourself. We do enjoy camping and will enjoy it. We have never gone on such a long trip though, and want to know what other people would bring for entertainment in the same situation.

I'm going to be camping for ~2months this May as my girl and I do a road trip across the country (Canada) and back. We need some help thinking of some games to keep us from hating each other.
So far all I've been able to think of is:
reading
bocce ball
cards
filming really stupid and annoying things that will only be funny/interesting to me & her
Help us think of more things to do!
EDIT: Keep in mind that there are only two of us going, and that we will not be bringing a computer or any electronic gaming devices.
hmmm...lets see. no electronic toys=boring
filming stupid and annoying things=boring
reading=boring
Help us think of more things to do!=boring
I hate to say it, but you seem to be taking a BORING vacation

So do it for a week...or two weeks...or however long it takes until you no longer enjoy what you're doing.

You realize what we are doing right? We're going from coast to coast across our beautiful country, and getting a chance to see every major city and every major attraction (nature or otherwise) on the way. This is something that has to take a long time, and most likely I wont have that kind of time to take until I have retired, and at that point it would be quite a different trip then the one I'm taking now at 22.

So enjoy the cities then...why play bocce ball in the woods when you can be interacting with the local people?
