Happy hour at Tia's on a Thursday or Friday night, followed by a dinner in the North End, followed by boozing at the Fanuil (sp) Hall meat markets. I recommend Ned Devine's. (I am assuming you are in your 20's).

Leave and go to New York

I agree. There are plenty of planes, trains, and buses that go to and from NYC all the time. There are buses that leave from South Station, Boston for NYC for $20 on the hour. Make your stay a long weekend in NYC.

(I am a former Bostonian, current New Yorker.)

Go to Cape Cod. Lots of good photo opportunities on Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. Aquinnah (Moshup) Beach and Menemsha Beach are especially nice for photography at sunrise and sunset.

Northend/ Fanuell hall has some bars, Sunset grille in Allston is pretty rad at 100+ beers on tap, 200 + bottled. Go to the Museum of Fine Arts in the Back Bay by Northeastern University... See a Red Sox game and/or go to the bars around Fenway park. Go to a performance at Symphony Hall...

Hey, im in Cambridge. Harvard Square, Central, Davis, and Inman are where to go here. It looks like your hotel is in the north burbs. I have never ventured outside of Boston Metro. PM me if you want to know where to go. You just said, "bars/pubs." Any metro area is way more complicated than that. Do you want college girls, coyotes, class, dives, good beer, wine, view, what? Be more specific and i can help.
