I've lived in Berkeley for decades but never been to Alcatraz. I hear it's a must-see here, so I told my cousin, who's visiting from New York that I thought it would be interesting if we did the tour. He doesn't want to devote a whole day to it, so I guess it won't work. He thought we could do something else. This would be Wednesday, when he's free. He's going back to Manhattan Thursday, where he's always lived.
So, I'm wondering what other thing we might do that won't take up most of the day. I figure to take him out to lunch, but want something else on the agenda. He's staying near Rockridge BART, and I figure to pick him up before lunch time.
Ideas?
