Things to do in/around Salt Lake City - very short visit

I have an upcoming interview at the end of this week in Salt Lake City (time TBD, but probably Friday @ 1) and will probably be flying in Thursday. I may tack on some extra time and stay until Saturday or Sunday.

Do any SLC veterans have suggestions on where to eat or any places to visit in such a limited time period?

I will probably have Thursday late afternoon/evening free and maybe some time on the end depending on if I extend the trip.

Big Cottonwood and Little Cottonwood Canyons are nice. Check weather before going though.

Temple Square and the Tabernacle (named from the Quebecois cuss phrase) are fascinating in the same way Mt. Rushmore is fascinating and probably worth a visit.

Antelope Island in the Great Salt Lake is cool.
