I need your help. It's for my parents + aunt and uncle = 4 of them.

They are looking for a quick overnight trip. Here's the catch:
*Aunt has cancer and limited physical strength for walking around
*This rules out Boston in its entirety, and despite being a Bostonian, I'm stuck...
*Suddenly there's nothing to do in MA

-Parents came up with going to Newport, RI for their cutesy shops, mansions, a beach. Too bad hotel is so fucking expensive this time of year.

-We're all drawing a blank.

What can we do?

If she can't walk around, rent a scooter. Do the freedom trail and have dinner up in the north end.

I believe Boston also has a bus tour. Also, if she's willing to be pushed around in a wheelchair you could go to a museum or the aquarium for a few hours.

Whoever recommended North End,

I'd recommend La Famiglia Giorgio (their food is good, their portions are huuge) followed by some sweets from Mike's Pastries, but if she's a Boston native that might be kind of been there done that for her.
