• An improving economy
Conceded. We should all clap for that.
• A soaring stock market
Eh.
• Americans getting health insurance
Or else.
• Mention of "solar power"
Did anyone clap for that?
• Tax cuts for working families (A tax cut Republicans don't like?)
Conceded.
• Affordable childcare
If it's anything like affordable healthcare, all you have to do is mandate that people buy childcare insurance and the problem is solved.
• Tax cuts for families with children (Another one?)
Conceded.
• Equal pay for women
This myth has been repeatedly, exhaustively, and completely discredited.
• "America has put more people back to work than Europe, Japan, and all advanced economies combined."
If true, conceded. Needs sourcing.
• A "free and open internet"
Which somehow means the internet needs government intrusion.
• Rewarding companies that "invest in America" (C'mon, really?)
If this means subsidies, I don't support this.
• "Working Americans"
...and?
• A resolution for the use of the force against ISIL
Conceded. We need more force, though, if we are serious.
• "Trying something new" with Cuba
Still not sure how I feel about this.
• Acknowledging that climate change exists
Which isn't the issue so much as what's to blame for it.
• Not persecuting "people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender."
Right, because the plight of such people is clearly a problem. I mean, we have people refusing to bake cakes for their wedding. Dear God! How did it come to this?
• Closing Gitmo
Wasn't this supposed to happen like 5 years ago?
• Making "voting easier for every single American"
As long as no one asks for proof that they're American.
Why the hell would anybody vote for Republicans?
I dunno, but they sure freaking seemed to get votes on the last go-round. Clearly they're all deluded fools.
