My gf drove up a down ramp in a parkade. My mom drove into my parked car even though I park in the same spot every day. My brother's gf almost hit my parked car because she never looks behind her before she starts to drive backward.

I think a lot reason for this is that women are worse than men at being spatially aware of what is around them. Its goes back to the women in the cave vs men out hunting thing.

like what?

Well, between my brother, sister, and I these are the accidents I can recall:

1) Sister scrapes and dents almost the entire right side of the car (if you're positioned in drivers seat) against one of those yellow metal poles in a gas station. The dent was something like 2 inches deep, across both doors and part of the front fender. Asks dad to fix it as his shop. He responds colorfully, refuses.

2) Someone crashes into my sister's car. Granted, not her fault and she finally got rid of "Yellow Lightning" (name me and my brother gave her car).

3) My brother ran his bike into our neighbor's bumper when he was 14.

4) I bumped into some woman's car at ~2mph because she made a hard brake I wasn't anticipating, though I admit I should have given more room. No damages.

From what I've seen, women try to multitask more when driving. Around campus the more ditzy sorority girls tend to do a lot of texting and driving, which is by far the dumbest thing they can do aside from turning the steering wheel with their face.
