Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens;
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens;
Brown paper packages tied up with strings;
These are a few of my favorite things.

Cream-colored ponies and crisp apple strudels;
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles;
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings;
These are a few of my favorite things.

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes;
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes;
Silver-white winters that melt into springs;
These are a few of my favorite things.

When the dog bites,
When the bee stings,
When I'm feeling sad,
I simply remember my favorite things,
And then I don't feel so bad.

being mean to the b/f!

(it is ok. we have an understanding. if either of us has a bad day, we are allowed 5 nonstop minutes of being mean to the other to get rid of it. Then it is apologizes and giggles)

or shopping, or music.

:)

Well, my girlfriend and I were in the park and I was really pissed off, and she said, "I have to pee. Can we go over there?" and pointed to the woods.

That snapped me out of it instantly.

Donny Hathaway's cover of Marvin Gaye's "What's Goin' On", from the 1972 "Live" album. :thumbsup

alcohol or weed on a bad mood make me suicidal. Codeine seems to perk me up though. Pity it's habituating. Can you imagine the potential if they could genetically engineer you so that you never developed a tolerance? The entire antidepressant industry would be wiped out in one fell swoop.

Edit: of course, if technology reached that point, you probably wouldn't even need a pill, they'd just wire your brain that way to begin with.

Pampering myself with all my most expensive or unique beauty products that I save for special occasions. Getting pretty makes me feel wonderful :)
