Can you name some distinctive objects or situations which, maybe for a short time, made you truly happy? I don't mean a couple of beers and things like that.

The most effective ones have been relationship-related: mainly the part between the discovery of mutual interest and the point where she says, "oh, never mind."

Getting a really good deal on some equipment I've wanted is nice, too, but it's not quite the same.

Watching Jose Lima from the Dodgers CLEAN out the Cardinals on their last attempt in the playoffs. Plus I was there cheering him on with friends. Was a great happy baseball moment :)

Preyhunter made me happy for 5 days when he posted his spooning ineptness thread and wrote these lines:

"THIS IS WHERE IT BEGAN GOING TO HELL IN A HANDBASKET. We were lying there cuddling when I feel my weenie start to twitch. I?m thinking to myself that this is going to get ugly. I can just imagine getting full wood and embarrassing myself because I don?t have enough room to back away from her so that she doesn?t feel it pressing up against her butt. I..."

To this day, every time I read this I still have to fight to keep myself from busting out in a fit of nonstop hysterical laughter... Tho' sometimes it is a losing battle.
