I would also assume this is why preggo chicks and people about to take a test SHOULD listen to classical music because its gets the brain waves going when they are not active.

I think it is like pre-game warmups. They help get the blood going before the game but you wouldn't want to do a layup drill in the middle of the game.

If I study ahead I'll just forget it. I do read all the chapters assigned according to the syllabus, then review the night before the exam. FTW.

There was another really good study which attempted to discover why Mozart's music, in particular, seemed good for a background music. I couldn't find it via a google search. (If someone has access to ERIC and other more academic sources, they might be able to find it.)

I didn't take the dj on the radio serious, thats why I asked the question of how with all the research proving the opposite someone could say that.
