List is kinda worthless without more specifics. What kind of Nest? It's mentioned right before Ring so I assume it's about Nest cameras and video doorbells instead of the thermostat. Well, those were once called "DropCam," from 2009. Changing the name shouldn't reset the count.

Microsoft Surface means many different things and the tech demo Microsoft Surface certainly existed back then.

Messenger? Like, Facebook Messenger? It was part of Facebook... and you could send messages. Just like changing the name, spinning it off under another name with a specialized management app doesn't change much. Messenger is still part of Facebook. Saying otherwise is a bit like saying the YouTube Studio app is not part of YouTube.

Tesla Model S? Well, yeah, but that doesn't mean much. A lot of new cars have come out from every manufacturer in the last decade. It's not like Model S was the first Tesla, and Tesla Roadster existed in the previous decade. Not even worth mentioning a specific model like that. Might as well say "the 2019 Toyota Tundra didn't exist before the last decade!"

Sorry. List wasn't worth making.

Take Nest off your list. Nest labs the company, started in 2010. The thermostat went on sale in 2011.

How a decade changes things.

AMD and Intel have swapped places which hopefully bodes well for improvements and competition.

My 'closed-loop' auto-adjusting insulin pump 😎

Yeah that's some pretty crazy stuff...my friend's kid is Type I and she just got a 14-day CGM with wireless alerts to her parents phone. She's pretty young (like 6 or so) & can have a max of like 3 grams of carbs at a time due to her condition, so it's really easy for her to fall off the energy wagon & tank or else get her sugars spiked too high. With the realtime CGM, they can respond instantly, which is super amazing!

Lebron James, athlete of the decade.

Kaido, poster (is there a better word for this?) of the decade.

Only 3 grams? That isn't a lot and what is that, half a french-fry?

Think back to 1990. Remember when you thought movies from 1955 were really old? Well, that's how old The Goonies is now. 😱

Yeah, she's Type I & super sensitive to carbs. The Freestyle Libre just came out with a 14-day model, basically a 2-week sticker you wear with a tiny needle:

Dexcom is the other competitor. Both have lots of great features:

Of the list, I've used an iPad only to help my wife and used Apple Maps until I figured out how to load Google Maps.

I've heard of all of them but there are a few that I couldn't tell you why they exist. For all the media/market hoopla over WeWork, I never read an explanation of what the company actually does.
