More than enough reason to find an excuse to move (as someone else said) more than a pick-up truck drive away.

it's all embarassingly real.
My wife might still have pictures on her phone from last years christmas at their place. I took pictures just because someone else had to see them.
My mother in law has told me tales of them going to buffets with ziplock bags and filling up.
Having to hide the silverware when they come over
The oldest daughter got fired from McDonalds because she couldn't make change even though the register told her how much to give back
The middle gran child on their side had to have both front teeth removed because they were rotted at age 3... I'm guessing the new baby is well on it's way to the dentist.
4 out of the 5 kids have different fathers
I could go on, but they are the family joke.

god sounds like my in-laws. they are this bad.
but at least you are not missing anything. Whenever we have my wife's family over something goes missing. usually food or such.
I purchased a cord of firewood a few weeks ago. almost a quarter of it is gone! but my in laws have a lot of firewood at there place.. we have dishes, food etc just disappear and end up over at one of there houses.
every time they leave we have to look and see what they took.
