Things i hate about FF2

I hate the way the new tabs are...as in, it shows like a few of your tabs on the screen and not all of them, so it looks better and the tabs don't get crunched together. i also don't like how there is a tool bar button and a sidebar button, and the fact that i cant put some menu items together.

on a side note you can always unpack an extension that isn't compatible and change the max version number to 2.0.* (or more) and it'll work for ff 2.0.

don't like that.

I do, when you have like 20-30 tabs in one window it's impossible to tell what's what without it. Galeon has had that for years, although there's also the "Tabs" menu that also helps out.

You mean it'll install, there's no guarantee it'll work.

The "go" button seems locked to the right of the address bar. I hate that, i like it on teh left. Any fix for that?

I fixed the buttons, and I can live with the scrolling tabs, but it has crashed twice since I got it... 1.5 never crashed for me so I'm guessing there are still bugs to be ironed out here. I like how it tries to recover a session after a crash though.

One thing that's bothering me:

I've been conditioned that every time I close a tab, the tab directly to the is opened. This originally bothered me, and I wished my previous tab would be displayed. Well now it does display the previous tab and it drives me insane! It's thrown off my game and has me closing tabs I usually wouldn't close because I get disoriented on where I am. I have to consciously think about it now.

well i still wish they wouldn't have scrollable tabs like they do now, but oh well. i guess i can get used to the slight name changes in the context menu and the regular menu.

yes, I REALLY hate this. I instantly uninstalled FF2, and went back to IE7 after this.
FF2 still uses more memory than IE7 (unfair comparison since IE7 is in windows shell).
