ruined 3 years of my life... :D

just kidding... well other than occupying my time 75% of the time when i have nothing better to do, not sure if i've had anything else unexpected.. i've met a few cool people, however, not even one yet in person. perhaps later on. :)

Toughened my thin skin a little bit.

Taught me when it is worth it to speak up and when opening my mouth is pointless or even counter productive.

Helped me learn how to deal with the public better.

Given me inside info on what teens are doing these days (INVALUABLE for a mom!!!)

Brought me in contact with some very wonderful people who have shared their insights, support, wisdom, and experiences with me.

This is a lot, considering I just joined because a friend mentioned it. I had no idea what I was getting into, lol...

The mods removed an "L" from one of my topics only to put it back a couple hours later after the humor wore off :)

...that was unexpected.

Great Hardware/software information esp on the latest trends. Hot deals forum to save money.

The two biggest suprises is probably my friendship with AndyHui and Pillage2001. Great bunch of guys. Even though one of them doesn't comb his hair and the other one thinks he is HK superstar. ;)

My participation here (and other internet forums) has made me more negative about the future of society.

Nothing. I can sincerely say that I got exactly what I expected (or didn't).

To be more specific... I knew I came to waste time... The original idea was to read smth in English... I'm not sure how it helps my English (it probably doesn't) but the result of all this time I spent here is that I don't care for that any more.

Aside from being introduced to the word 'nef' and its ominous meaning, I've become familiar with the group of people here, and it feels like its own little sitcom.

And dammit, I sure never thought I'd find out so many ways to cook a steak...
