Thin fans?

I need a fan as big and thin as I can get. 120 x 20, 120 x 15, even 140 x something. Anybody got any ideas?

Buy 4, 60x15 fans. Sand two sides of each super flat, then super glue them together.
All four holes will be 1/2 a hole off from a 120's mounting holes.

I guess that's one way. lol. The best I've been able to find are the aero 140x20, not too bad.

I just installed a case with two side intake120mm YLs and it really blows quitely.

I searched all over for those 250mm fans @ 17dBA but they aren't available yet.

Those fans are 4x or more the power of the 120s and I want one or at least 3 to start.

What were you tooking to mount this to?

Well, I'm actually done with this now. I have a stacker case which had a goofy standard 80mm side intake on a very large filter. I use a scythe infinity hsf and, after changing the mb mounts, I'm very happy with it. However, it was tall enough it wouldn't quite clear a 25mm thick side intake fan mounted to the side panel.

It does clear an aerocook 140x20 just fine. I now get about 50cfm in and it's on a controller but it's just a hair over ambient, anyway. I'm pretty satisfied...
