Thief uses decoys to escape crime scene

Awesome, haha. He may be a thief, but for that he deserves that bag of money

Hopefully the theif was smart enough not to post that listing on Craigslist from his home computer. I'm sure the FBI is looking at when and where that posting came from.

A thief smart enough to successfully pull this off should be smart enough not to expose himself by actually paying these chumps.

Secondly, I'm sure those who were hired to be decoys are being watched by the authorities and being caught accepting any form of payment would be grounds for imprisonment.

I wonder if the decoys will paid.

probably through paypal.

Paypal can be tracked, so would have to be through another way IMO

not really......fake bank account, Vanilla Visa, and a connection from a local library or a wardrive for a wireless connection and your set....by the time they track you.....you can be settled in a nice comfy Caribbean Island somewhere.

Or, the decoys would work in conjunction with the cops to catch the thief, instead of being charged for helping the thief, which they did do, regardless of payment.

Well said. Most of them got it right anyway.

Hah...that's pretty good. He gets away with the cash, no one was killed or really even injured and this is what the police are looking for "white male, about 25, between 5 foot 7 and 5 foot 10" Good luck!

not necessarily. Open account with bogus email, address, no link to bank account. Have someone (anyone) pay you (or I bet you can mail paypal a money order) then pay the people that way.

That being said, I bet he didn't pay them.

Fucking awesome... just the thought of a dozen dopes, all dressed up the same, standing around saying "What the fuck! Where is this guy?!"
