Thief or inFamous: Second Son [PS4]

The reviews for Thief aren't very encouraging. I'm waiting for it to hit bargain bin pricing before buying. Infamous however, I've already paid for it. 🙂

I'll post a short review after a couple of hours when I play today. Its still in my car. Second son will definitely be a purchase for me.
Edit: from another thief thread.

I've played a bit of thief tonite on ps4. I definitely see frames drop during cutscenes. It did say a download was ready to install but I didn't install it and kept playing. So far the atmosphere is interesting, you have to keep quiet and hidden and I haven't played a stealth game in a while, nor am I too good. It's fun sneaking around stealing coins from guards and such. On the master difficulty guards do see you easier than on normal. I did get caught a bunch of times.

One thing I don't like is the controls seem kind of clunky but after sometime they get better once you get used to it.

I like making my way around trying to grab anything unseen. At times I wonder if I should take down someone or not, that's my biggest concern. Not knowing when to use a take down or chance sneaking again.
So far I'm liking the game and its really not as bad as everyone is making it out to be.

Picked up Thief and Rayman both at Toys R Us and got a $20 gift card that will go towards InFamous.

Also abused a promo on 40% off 3 other Wii/Wii U games when you buy Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze on a few pesky first party Nintendo games that never ever ever go on sale.

Toys R Us is killing me with these deals. Buying new games for cheaper than used.

Hopefully they will do $10 gift card for Metal Gear Ground Zero and InFamous too!

And my Tales of Symphonia Chronicles CE and $39 Tomb Raider Definitive Edition came today. Weeeee.

I played 3 hours last night and feel the same. To me the game seems to suffer assassins creed control where it is fluid but at times doesn't do exactly what you expect.

I like the stealth very much.

A buddy last night was saying there seems to be long load screens. Anyone notice the same?

I would say average. Loading a level for the first time may take a bit but when you die and reload its not so long. I have a 1tb hard drive that is a little faster than stock but it should not make a big difference.

Edit: I have it for ps4 and loading isn't that long but I also changed my ps4 hard drive when I bought the system.
