They Should Have a Class on How to Read Chicken Scratch

I got an assignment from my boss to write a report for him. I wrote mostly the whole thing except for the conclusion. He gave me what I should type up for him and fill in the blanks (calculations and data only I have). I was able to read most of it, but some of it I misread. When I gave it to him, he was like "Omg man, did you read it?". I badly wanted to say, "No, I had to use rational thinking and common sense to be able and decrypt your symbols". Not only that, he changed a lot of what he wanted me to write and wanted me to go back and change them. I'm not complaining just because his writing sucks, but because he doesn't realize it! Hence, "Omg man, did you read it?".

Here are some examples:

Pic 4

UPDATE: So he got frustrated and told me he would write the conclusion himself. When he was critiquing what I wrote I was so frustrated I gave him the meanest look ever. He then goes and asks me if I was frustrated. I responded by just standing there looking directly at him. He told me that he was frustrated and wanted me to e-mail him the document so that he could write it. That SOB kept changing stuff he previously told me to write and then goes back on it. I point it out that he TOLD me to use certain words to describe certain things and he goes, "Yeah but, man, I'm not even sure, just e-mail this to me. It'll be easier that way."

My reports, lab reports and research projects have always been tip top in detail and grammar. The rest of the goddamn report was good. Then I have him, someone that doesn't know how to use Word or what the Windows key does, who doesn't know the difference between past and present tenses, can't write, and can't spell the word "peak" get frustrated by my writing abilities. Goddamn, today is just one of those work days that makes you grumpy for the rest of the day.

If you look at the first pic and read the part where it says slightly. Then read the typed up portion on the second pic, you can see that it is now CROSSED OUT and he substituted another sentence for me to type in. He told me what I wrote was not detailed enough, but as you can see he wrote the damn sentence to begin with!

That's very legible, you just suck at reading. I'll post a page of my hand writing tonight.

What are you talking about, I was able to read most of it. Just the very end of Pic 4 and at times I wrote transfer instead of transformer.

Also, you can't tell me that is very legible. If you can translate page 3 and 4 then I'll give you a cookie.

But my main rant is that he got all crazy when I misread some of his words, which is very likely to happen considering his writing style. Even my co-workers were not able to decipher his writing when he wasn't present and I could not ask him (this was for a different project). Plus he kept having me make corrections for stuff he wanted me to write.

completely wrong

I like how you guys jump to the conclusion that you are able to read it without knowing the correct sentence.

Do they really? I always wondered if pharmacy people had to do something like that since most doctors write like drunken, retarded, chimps.

Yeah, they take a pharmacy orientation class which isn't very many units, but they learn and get tested on how to read abbrev. in the handwriting of a doctor, etc.....

Not sure how it is at other universities but mine is a pretty large pharmacy school in Cali.
