I was skeptical at first, but for about $7, I figured I would give MouseSkates a try. It is like a totally different mouse!

I am using a Logitech Optical Mouseman on a Ratzpad, and I have had the Ratzpad for over a year now. The surface of the pad is still good and smooth, but it has started to wear down. But once I got the Skates on, I could tell a huge difference.

Anyone else got the MouseSkates? I certainly recommend them now.
 
Looks like someone trying to get rich through marketing rather than helping people by telling them about wrapping mouse feet with tape.
 
I had always been annoyed at how much heavier my Mouseman Optical was compared to my old Mouseman Wheel, and how it seemed there was more friction between the mouse and the surface. Now with the skates, the mouse moves much more smoother and the heavier feel is not as frustrating.
