btw,

The $10 coupon only works on these speakers.

However, the $5 coupon does work on everything.

"Sorry, we were unable to validate the Coupon Code you entered."

I received my 424 speakers today and all I can say is they are fantastic. Again I thank all of you for the great information and for a well spent $22. These are worth every cent and then some.

Pulse - 424's came in today! These speakers are an awesome value at $21.58 shipped. They are refurbs, but they look and sound great.

I'm extremely satisfied with the purchase.

I'm strongly considering buying another pair, but I don't know if my walls will hold up to the bass.

I just got in on this deal even though the $10 coupon is expired. I used the $5 one instead. These speakers should suit my family just fine for music and games. A big improvement over their packard bell monitor mount speakers. Thanx Guys!

Sorry Flatbroke, I forgot about the flamers that always have to have their word in. I though my elementary way of asking for the LINK would be understood since a lot of people appear to be having a hard time finding it. Thanks for the parking / driving information, I will mark it down in my planner. Good thing stop signs don't contain the letters C and E!

Back on subject here, proud to say that my 424's are still rockin', great product!

Tempting, though my Altec Lansing ACS45.1's are still going strong. They could use new covers for the speakers but otherwise they still sound great.

For those that have seen or heard the ACS45.1's, would you say the 424's sound worse, as good, or better than the ACS45.1's?
Spanks. :)

Just bought 2. I will wreck havoc with a 4.2 setup. Now to find a place to fit the second woofer... ;p

One sub in front and one in back, setup to die for. Although my 424's get a little overpowered by my powered 450w JBL :p.

Well, both sets work (yay for refurbs) but the cables aren't long enough for me to logistically run a 4.2 setup right now (boo for extension cables! yay for radio shack). The subs aren't quite as strong as the reviews make it seem, but that's totally fine with me. I only wish I could figure out how to wall mount the satellites... Hmmm. ;p

Got my 424's yesterday. Very nice for $26. Sub is by far best I have heard in the cheapie class. Bass is much tighter then any of the plastic subs. Can't compare to my 5.1 HT setup, but at $25, it isn't supposed to.
I actually have to keep the sub turned down so my neighbor doesnt bitch. Unfortunately, I have to turn it waaay down on my HT. Behind enemy lines had my Apt shaking last week :)

In reference to the 420 Pulse

JustDeals sells them on Ebay for $11.95 with $14.95 shipping ($26.90). I know auctions are never a hot deal, but it looks like they dump a lot of them on there at this price, so I doubt you'll pay more. This works out to a nickel cheaper if you buy it from their site with the $5 coupon. If you buy more, then definitely go through the site because it's only $2.95 more per item.

So if you can't find a $5 coupon, go to Ebay and pay a nickel more.

Is the $10 coupon still valid? Could someone PM me with the code if it is?

Thanks.

Whats a good sound card to make this setup sound nice. I have another generic pare of Altec Lancing speakers with the base box, that I want to put together with the 424 that I just bought. Any suggestions?

I'm using these on my two systems while I wait for that perfect deal on the Logitech Z-560s. I noticed that Office Depot was clearancing the Edge model about a month ago in a couple of Ohio stores -- I think it was about $18.

Well, Just Deals is selling a refurb of the 4.1 Z-560s for $99.....so that's a hot deal in itself. :D

And I'm sure you can find the coupon code for that somewhere else. ;)

Saw the 420 Pulse on the clearance table at CompUSA B&M (Brookfield, WI) for $29.95. Had a bunch of other computer speakers, also. Alright markdowns.

They're also $30 on their website.
