apple marketing has just been lazy. i mean, its been 2 or 3 years now with this series of ads? and they can't come up with a new theme? man, if i were steve jobs i would fire the whole department.

The stupid "#1 notebook on college campuses" is misleading as hell. How many different companies make PCs that run Vista vs. the number of companies that do the same for OSX???? (rhetorical)

I think it's hilarious that Apple still manages to get under your skin when they have a negligible market share.

I didn't watch the ads, so I'm just going by the summaries. My take -
1. Vista IS a pain in the ass. I'd rather use XP any day, and I have one FREE copy of Vista Business and one OEM copy of Vista Home (don't remember if it's premium or basic). I used Vista for a few months before giving up and going back to XP.
2. Transferring files is a great service. Best Buy will charge you a lot of money for that, even if you buy your computer from them.
3. Pizza box = WTF.

For some reason all these Mac ads manage to have a somewhat condescending tone without making it plainly obvious. I feel like against all logic I need to buy a mac just so I can be as good as everyone else.

I was pretty nervous when I bought a new laptop recently. I had never used Vista and I just knew it was going to be horrible. I browse a lot of tech sites and forums so I have read all of the anti-MS zealots. I was pleasantly surprised when I picked up the computer and found Vista is very smooth, easy to use and powerful. A few months later I have had absolutely no problems with it.

There was an article a year ago or more saying that they were going to end that series of ads, or at least get different people to play the parts. I thought they would have moved on to something new by now.
