Feeling Thermometer

The survey asked respondents to rate 20 political figures on a "feeling thermometer." The warmer or more favorable they felt toward a person the higher score they gave them on a scale of zero to 100. Heh the only people who interest me on that list are
Rice
Lieberman
and Gingrich

If the repubs send Guiliani or McCain to the whitehouse, expect a beat down.

Gingrich has 0 or less chance of being President.

When his maritial history comes out in full force he will be forced to slink back into retirement.

Glad to see Bill Richardson in the top ten. Not bad recognition for a fellow who doesn't get nearly as much attention as most of the people ranked above him.

Personally, I think he is a natural leader, as well as practical, and compassionate. I wish he would run. The country needs a leader.

Whenever anyone talks about Giuliani as the possible Repubican nominee, I just laugh and realize they are an idiot.
Giuliani doesn't have a chance. Oviously no one knows Giuliani's history.

If Giuliani were to run on an independent ticket or something, I'd see him coming close to, if not actually winning the presidency. Unfortunately, he's too "left" for the far-righty Republicans, so he won't get the nod.

So does Bill Clinton and GWB.

Also, where was this poll taken? I see 2 NYC mayors there, both with high % ratings. Was the poll taken in NYC, maybe?

As if a Black woman would make it through the republican primary, David Duke has more of a chance...

A lot can change in two years. Alot of moderate republicans voted dem/independent this year. More than usual.

Giuliani could get the nominee if the the GOP trends towards the center, which it needs to do if its going to do anything in 2008.

The GOP needs centrist candidates for Pres/Senate/House if it wants to recapture anything in 2008.

Guiliani will poll well in Iowa and New Hampshire. If he can poll well in South Carolina he could win.

Tom Vislack(D) and Mitt Romney(R) will get the nominations for their respective parties. I would say the VA Gov but he already said he will not run in 2008.

If Tom Vislack gets the dem nomination, we will have a Democrat in the white house. If Hillary gets the nod, the GOP will probably retain the White House.

Too bad Jon Stewart isn't running :( He could select Patrick Stewart for a running mate (forget, is he British?), and it would be Stewart/Stewart '08.

FTW :D

I wouldn't touch Giuliani, McCain, or Rice with a 10 foot pole - contaminated goods.

Rice ? What for - she's a worthless, lying shill.
McCain is pandering to the Extreme Right, and for total Government control of personal affairs.
Giuliani was good for Ney York city imediately after 9-11, but no leadership beyound that
mostly Democrat enclave.

Guiliani would have a better chance of winning the Democratic nomination than the Republican nomination. Pro choice, pro affirmative action, pro gay marriage, and pro gun control == absolutely no chance of winning the Republican nomination. The only reason he polls well is because so many Republicans have no idea where he stands on any issue.
