I changed a dying Delta fan with the YS Tech one
The temperature actually rose according to motherboard monitor
anyone have any suggestions?

900mhz tbird using the first generation Thermoengine(with heatpipe)
was using a 7k delta fan now using a 40.1 cfm YS Tech fan
YS Tech is blowing air DOWN on the heatsink(the delta was blowing air down towards the heatsink too)

im thinking about trying to reverse the air flow, to see how that goes.

Temps
YS Tech - Idles at 43-44 C, tops at around 47-50C
Delta was like 39-43 idle, 44-47C tops

(both was connected to 4 pin adapters)

strange thing though
the YStech fan was rated 6800rpm, but motherboard monitor and my BIOS says its running at 8200 rpm

the sound difference of the delta vs the YS Tech fan is huge(YS tech is very loud)

i think the specs on the YS Tech fan wasn't typed correctly or it wasn't the real stats
