Thermaltake VOLCANO 9 sensor?

Hi all, just have a quick question. Anyone have the Volcano 9, and use the thermal sensor option? The instructions say to put it on the back of the processor, but that is impossible, if you have this fan and use the sensor, where do you put it?

I think that most PGA sockets have a space under one or more of the sides that you can feed the sensor into the space that will be under the CPU when it's installed.
