there was an advertisement at anandtech for the thermaltake volcano 7+ about
3 days ago, which store was that? did anyone notice? i need to buy one,
as i remembered that store had to lowest price. thanks in advance...
 
Lowest price I've found is at PC Club. $29. There is a delay in shipping right now as the distributor is slow on getting them from TT. But you can still order one.
 
but since an alpha 8045/thermalright ax7/sk6 is nearly the same price or cheaper, why not go with one of those? BTW i have not seen the 7+ in action so i may not know what i'm talking about (i'm just recalling tts reputation)
 
Most review I have read on it are all positive. Main thing I like was while it did not cool quite as well as an ax7 with an 80mm delta, it came pretty close, and was a hell of a lot quieter. I hate deltas. Damn things are too loud, but anything less on that ax7 and you loose alot of it's cooling potential.
 
Well, I can tell you from experience my thermaltake volcano 7+ is awsome.
you can hear the fan at high speed, but it really cools well.
If I had to spend the money over again I would.
