Hi,
I figure its about time to upgrade my 6 year old Chieftech full tower and I have an opportunity to buy a Thermaltake Tai-Chi . However its in another state, and i cant find one to look at locally. Dose anyone here have hands on experiance with one? the AT review is very good Here but was just looking for some other opinions.

Thanks for your input :)

There are quite a few reviews of the TaiChi out there - I'd really have to need what only it supplies to justify paying that kind of money for a Tt case...

i had one for my dad's server.

Dont get the LCS one. The Liquid cooling system made by TT is an absolute joke.

Its extremely roomy, and VERY heavy. If that sort of thing fits you with the hydrolic doors, then its a great case.

However for that price range, you can easily get a LL M-cube which looks tons nicer and built much better.

The silverstone TJ-07 would be a much better case then the TAI CHI as well. Also be cheaper, and more cleaner.

Here, we're getting into the indifference curves of personal preference.

The Silverstone is a very good case. The Tai-Chi has glitz and pizazz with enough technical design features to make it worth having if you want to spend the money.

I agree with AigoMorla about TT's water-cooling option, and you'd save money to buy the bare case. If you want water-cooling, you should be able to take advantage of the Tai-Chi's provisions for it and use a much better kit.

I'd have to review the Silverstone's specs, but I think (correct me if I'm wrong) the Tai-Chi has a rectangular bottom-vent. And since it's on casters, you could easily install fans down there and take advantage of their noise-reduced deployment.

Thanks for your input guys, and I agree about TT's h20 set ups as they are rather cheesy.
I can pick up this case for about 130$ and at that price range its not a bad deal.

Thanks again :)

Well -- either somebody's in a hurry to convert their computer case into desperate cash, or -- if I were you -- I wouldn't ask any questions. I mean -- the guy could be a night-watchman at some . . . . warehouse . . . . sampling the wares . . . . :D
