Thermaltake Super Orb

with socket A thermistor readings being as "compressed" and inaccurate as they are, the temps appear very close.

HOwever, this is probably not the case. There is probably significant performance difference between the two that is not measured, but the S-Orb is quieter.

FOP32 is not very loud like a FOP38 and FOP32 is probably one of the best performers out there. The Orbs use a poor design where the airflow is mostly just at the bottom not by the fins, I highly recommend a FOP32 even over the Super Orb.

The super orb is the sweetest LOOKING heatsink/fan combo out there!!! I've heard that it's not up there for cooling performance though, so i don't know wether you want it or not. I plan on doing a bit of overclocking once I get my 900tbird based system, and that's the sink that I was looking at, but now I don't know. Anyone know if it's good enough for a little bit of an overclock? Like ten percent, I just want to hit a gig and run stable.. thanks (and I want the inside of my case to look like the inside of one of those Japanese hotrods 🙂 )
