Works great on my 2500+@3200+. Its fairly large and heavy. Fairly quiet also. Go for it, its good.

Yes, get it, it's a perfectly good heatsink for the money.

It is much, much better. To install SLK-947U you will need to remove you motherboard, but it not a big deal. Just print out instruction how to install it (it does not come with any instructions). I got instructions from several websites, jsut in case. I got it with high speed 92 panaflo fan. If you going to keep you VCore (CPU voltage) under 1.8 a slower fan will be better (less noise and enough cooling). If you planing to go above it (I intend to eventually go over 1.9v, maybe in a year) get fast Panaflo fan. I also use Arctis Silver 5. I have not tried others so not sure which thermal paste is best.

Yes, and heavier, requiring you to buy the fan. Also, it uses mounting holes, so you'll have to remove the mobo and slowly screw it on. Otherwise...best one you can get--or 2nd best by a margin too small to care about, I don't remember.
