Thermaltake new Spedo chassis sneak preview released

i dont know about anyone else...

but that looks like a blinged out version of my stacker T01.

 
The name sounds pretty dumb heh. Way too much plastic and LEDs for my taste, I prefer an elegant all aluminum construction personally.
There are some interesting features, but I don't think they're implemented very well. I recall a video from CES showing a Thermaltake spokesman demonstrating either this case or a similar one with the plastic module separators. The whole thing collapsed when he was trying to assemble it, it looks kind of flimsy.
 
Thermaltake seem to have good ideas with poor implementation.

They keep me interested however Id think 3 times before buying their products.

I think two things: sped or speedo. Not a good product name. But we laughed at Wii. Whoops.

ANyway, i like the idea of compartments with covers but this looks somewhat cheapy. It's also a little gaudy for my tastes. I wonder how the air actually flows through the thing.
 
Music was cheesy, case looked cheap but was trying to do too many things and overall would fall apart if you moved it continuously to LANs and between home and campus. Do not want. And honestly, how many people actually need dual 23mm fans? It also looks somewhat close to a CM 690.
 
Looks like the barstid [sic] child of a CM-690 and an Antec Nine Hundred - hows about a little originality there Tt?

looks like crap to me. not a fan of bright LEDS. i need to sleep in the dark.
last thermaltake i owned was a piece of crap. sharp corners and edges on the inside cut my fingers and wires if i wasn't 110% careful. also weighed about 50lbs when it was empty and was about 100lbs when loaded. Went Lian Li and will NEVER go back
 
Looks an awful lot like the Cooler Master Cosmos S. Even the advertising copy is very similar. TT did the same sort of thing with the TT Tsunami - CM Wave Master.

guess it isn't any worse than Asus "heart touching" but still kinda corny. At least they aren't using the half-lie "cool ALL your life" anymore 😛
