Thermaltake 750 Watt ATX Power Supply

Not too bad, the W0117RU is $165 on Newegg. Only thing that makes me wary is 5 of the 29 reviews say the thing was either DOA, or went bad in < 1 month.

Well, their power supplies are just OK. I had one that went bad after only a year. I've never had a power supply last less than three years.

Most of their other products are pretty good stuff.

Do you know anything about this PSU before making such a statement?

No kidding...friggin idiots on these boards..

i ve had one in my main rig now for 3 year...480watt...doing just fine...

The Toughpower line is of much better build quality than Thermaltake's previous PSU efforts.

I just bought one of these from Frys at regular price 🙁 , wonder if I bring the ad to Frys, if they will price match it?

Don't really want to take the thing back out of my PC to save $50 tho...

For $50? You either have a lot of money or you're the pinnacle of lazy. That's not a lot of work for $50.

You don't need to bring the PS in to Fry's, just bring your receipt. I've PM many times. All you need is the receipt. Now whether they PM to the AFTER rebate price is another matter.

Sure, it will take me 20 minutes to take it out and rebox everything, then drive down to Frys, stand in their return line for 20+ minutes, then stand in another line to get my refund. About 90 minutes...ehh it's about even for what I make each day. I'll ponder over your lazy statement and consider the $30 MIR. Anyone have any problems with CompUSA and rebates?

hmmm, looking at your sig you've got the Antec SmartPower. I wonder who makes the internals to that psu? Channel Well Technology perhaps. the same oem who makes the 750W Toughpower for TT. At least TT didnt inadequately cool their psu like antec, which caused their fuhjyyu caps to fail.

Antec SmartPowers cannot be trusted either. My next one is gonna be an Enhance ENP-5150GH once I RMA this POS.
