yeah...i noticed the posted price fluctuating from 29.95-39.95.....but when added to cart, it as always been 29.95...:shrugs:

The page says Thermalright fan included.

And it's $5 less than the SVC deal even after shipping. Says $36.21 after ground shipping is added.

Ah well what's $5 anyways?

xp90 code didn't work for me - said invalid code. svc.com has this for $29.95 standard price (no fan) - toss in a good fan on top of it. Will be a bit more, but you get a better fan 🙂

SVC is a valid choice for buying the xp-90, but wasn't a good choice for me. Jacb-tech.com has the Panaflo M1 fan, while SVC has the Panaflo FBA09A12M. Both are the same stats, but SVC no longer has the A12M in stock and after a phonecall with them said they don't see it ever coming back in stock. This was as of monday this week(I placed a order while it said the fan was in stock and then got a email saying sorry for the inconveniance but we do not have that fan in stock). I also paid for more shipping when I had orginally placed my order with SVC. BTW most reviews recommend the A12M (or M1A since they're identical). After using the code XP90 and adding the M1A and Arctic Silver 5, my price after shipping was $43.

BTW here is the new link for the xp-90.

The coupon worked for me. It took off $5 from the order. So I got the heatsink, Enermax fan, Arctic Silver 5, and shipping UPS ground for $44.76. (XP-90: $24.95; Enermax 9FAB: $8.00; Arctic Silver 5: $4.99; Shipping: $6.82). Based on this article: linky
CPU temps should go down significantly.

The Thermalright XP-90 and XP-90C are identical execpt for the material. The XP-90C is copper where the XP-90 is mostly aluminum. So the XP-90C weighs almost twice as much (~690g vs. ~320g). The reviews I read show from 1 to 2 degrees C improvement with the XP-90C over the XP-90 depending on load and fan. The reviewers claimed at least a 17 degree C improvement from stock. I looked at the cost of XP-90C vs. the XP-90 ($24.95 vs. $47.95) and for 1 or 2 degree improvement the XP-90 was my choice.

By the way jab-tech has the XP-90 for $24.95 + shipping without a coupon.

The Thermalright XP-90 has been a great heatsink. I've been very pleased with this one. Mine was picked up at SVC with retail fan for ~ $35 with one of their coupon deals. My CPU fan is set at 1250rpm most of the time - is extremely quiet and CPU temps are running barely above ambient case temps (22-28C depending on load). Winchester 3200+ at 250FSB.

Heatsink is light weight fits well in my case and just works.
