SVC has the Thermalright Ultra-90 heatsinks on sale for two prices, as noted below.........shipping is extra as you may have guessed on everything listed below.

But not bad prices on some fairly decent smallish tower cpu coolers if you don't intend to get into very aggressive overcocking.....should keep your cpus quite a bit cooler than the OEM heatsinks.

Ultra-90 for LGA775.....$16.99

Ultra-90 for AMD K8, Socket 939/754/940.....$14.99

(You'll have to purchase the AM2 adapter kit separately for y'all w/AM2 cpus......and SVC is OOS on those.)

Need a cheap K8/AM2 cpu cooler? Arctic Cooling Alpine 64 for $5.99

Need a cheap LGA775 cpu cooler? Arctic Cooling Alpine 7 for $7.99

Thermalright V1-Ultra VGA cooler......$19.99 (Doesn't fit all video cards, so I'd suggest reviewing fitment at Thermalright's site if you're really interested.)

Thanks for the heads up. You have the prices for the Alpine 64 and Alpine 7 reversed.

This cooler is not a big improvement over my XP90, but great price never the less but depend on shipping and tax costs.

for you guys/gals that have used the ultra90, won't putting 92mm fan up next a 120mm fan in the psu less the amount of air the psu has to cool iteself? or can you place the fan to push or pull through the hs (the instructions show it pushing air down, thus taking air from the psu)

The Alpine 64 is about 2C hotter at idle/load than the 4 pipe OEM X2/Opteron unit, at least in my limited one-time-only testing.

Thermalright Ultra-120 extreme is coming out. Most likely no one will stock the Thermalright Ultra-120.

Why wouldn't they. People are saying that the Ultra-120 is more compatible with C2Ds then Extreme? I called Jab-Tech, and they said that they might stock the 120 if the extreme is not compatible. But when I ask when...no one knows.
This sucks.

Its because as of right now, if you read any of the reviews, the extra heatpipes wernt fully compatible with lga775 mount. I guess you have to sorta bend something to get it in, or something like that. That is what they said in a few reviews. That would be my guess of what they are talking about. Its something thermalright has to fix. Seems like a moot point anyways getting the extreme. The ultra 120 and extreme only differ by like 1C.

exactly. I wouldn't want all that extra wait for 1C...or even 5C for that matter...
