Thermalright SK-6+ heatsink 9.99 with inexspensive shipping

This is one of the best air cooling heatsinks I've ever had. Highly recommended! Much better than Volcano 9 on my Athlon XP Barton core 2500 cpu.😎

This little friend dropped me 12 degrees celsius (that's right) on my palomino xp 2100+ chip with a y-tech fan; loved it but it went with the chip when I upgraded. I got mine from svc also; great service!

My order had a link that said, "Click here to get your two $10.00 Cash Back Rewards on your next purchases to thank you for your purchase today!"

Anyone else get that? I click it but it doesn't do anything. I'm going to e-mail them and ask for clarification.

Thanks nourd!

I have this HS with a YS tech fan and it's kinda loud. Has anyone bought the TMD adapter and TMD fan for this? If so, any impressions?

posted this over in the cpu forum a whiles back, no one cared, I'm glad people are getting in on this 🙂 This is a great budget heatsink.

ordered this a few months ago (i think this is the usual price) neat part was they sent me the 7 either they were out or messed up...this is a good company with good prices!!!

i ordered it for a computer i am building, should be sweet, and i got the cheapest 60mm fan they had, bit noisy DBA rating, but i havent recieved it yet so i cant really comment (not the black label delta lol)

should i use this over my Volcano 9? The Vol 9 uses a 80mm fan whereas this uses 60mm. I probably see not much improvement huh?

does copper make that much of a difference? The Vol 9 has a copper bottom, but not all around.

ordered one of these and a 60x25 fan... anybody know if they e-mail tracking numbers when the order ships? it wasn't immediately clear to me

all depends what temps you mind running at.

might be a bit warmer, but depending on what Heatsink your comin from it might all be a mute difference

you could always get the black label delta, then you would never complain about noise again!

Are any of the 60x25 mm fans on their site any good? would this one: 60x25mm 24CFM / 34dB YS-Tech 3-pin be kind of loud? It's the quietest of the bunch

I bought this last year from SVC, great HS. It came with no fan. So I installed a 80x80x25mm variable fan with manual control directly on top of it without any adapters. Dont use an 60 to 80 adapter because it makes the fan less efficient, according to the reviews, the adapter is not effective. Go to overclockers.com to see how to install the 80mm on the SK6+ just by using the included fan clips. My temperature is 35C full load 4200 rpm using an XP 1700+ at 2.150 Ghz.

This is just an amazing heatsink.

Did you need to do the guy's soldering trick?

I've read the Overclockers.com review, but I can't seem to find the information on how to attach an 80mm fan with the clips. That should work with any standard 80mm case fan?

Anyone have a direct URL? Thanks!
