Thermalright AXP-140 RT vs Noctua NH-C14

I have a Thermalright AXP-140 RT on my i7 920 in my HTPC. I have it overclocked and temperatures are a bit higher than I'd like.

Is the Noctua NH-C14 a worthwhile upgrade to bring my temps down or will I see only a few degree difference? I think I can fit the Noctua with both fans. I currently run the AXP-140 with a Noctua 140mm fan.

Thanks,
J

I doubt you'll get any major decrease in temps.

Chances are just upgrading the fan on the AXP-140 will result in equal or better improvements

Noctua 140mm fans spin at 1200rpm ?
the AXP-140 fan does 1500rpm correct ?

why are you running the slower fan on the AXP ?

I recommend getting the highest rpm 140mm PWM fan you see and setting that up to adjust speeds with temps
