Thermal Tape?

Was wondering what I should use to tape my temp probes in different locations throughout my case? i.e.) cpu heatsync vid card etc
There has to be something that i can buy at a hardware store that will work, its not like we are talking about drastic tempatures here
anyone have any suggestions?

You can find some at frozencpu.com. It's cheap enough that you won't need to worry about it. I'm sure if you hunted a bit you might find the same stuff locally. Either way, order up a couple of squares and try it out.

I don't think that is what the OP is looking for... he just wants a way to fasten the temp probe to the underside of the die, or on his HDD, or RAM.... whatever. What you linked to is thermal tape, the stuff you can use on older processors in lieu of thermal paste (sinc eit never really got hot enough to matter) or you can use it to fasten ram sinks or MOSfet sinks...

yeah, i just need a non-messy way to attach thermal probes anywhere i need too? I'd use household stuff, if i didnt think it was going to be a mess. Just looking for a simple way. I'm thinking electrical tape, but that could still get messy....
