I'm out of the loop on this. Is arctic silver 5 still the preferred paste to use? I'm replacing my 3200+ winnie with a 4000+ san diego. Oh, and alcohol will suffice to clean the heat sink, right?
 
70% alcohol is all I've ever used, and it does the job well. And AS5 is fine; it isn't the best anymore, though. I'll look for the link of the review of pastes that I saw not too long ago.
