Thermal paste on the base of a pin.

I got some thermal past on the base of one the pins on the edge. Whats the best way to take it off?

umm wipe it off real carefull like...the pins aren't as delicate as some would like you to believe

I've sprayed the bottom of the CPU's with non conductive electrical contact cleaner. It will literally just melt the TIM rite off, and then evaporate immediately. I find this the best way, as you don't even need to touch any pins.

I used this stuff for the first time last week. AWESOME for removing thermal grease and paste.
