Hi Guys,

Has anyone used this product, is it any good :-

Akasa TIM-clean CPU & Heatsink Cleaner (OA-001-AK)
Citrus based solvent that removes thermal pads and Silver based thermal grease.
Price: £4.50 (£5.29 Including VAT at 17.5%)

You clean all of your PC cards with the stuff (and a swab), if you are neat freak like me.

99% alcohol = Denatured Alcohol = toxic stuff

Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol (70%) will do a fine job, as will acetone (nail polish remover)

i bought 99% rubbing alcohol at walgreens. cost me like 79 cents or something.

From 1 UK user to another:

Go to any Chemists and ask for Isopropyl Alcohol. 500ml should be around £3.

Nothing will resist my personal Big Three: rubbing alcohol, nail polish remover, and cigarette lighter fluid. They're all cheap and what one won't remove, one of the others always will. They are cheap and wherever you can buy one, you'll always find the other two...

If 70% is good enough will it be better to get 91% since the highest any of the stores carry is 91% or should acetone be better?
