Thermal Grase

Are there any good tutorials on how to apply thermal grease for a Celeron (or even Pentium 4?). Or does anyone know off the top of there head, is a "grain of rice" the standard on Intel too? I've installed it on an AMD XP before and they have a nice little tutorial on their web site. Intel doesn't do the same as far as I can tell. I don't want to ovedr or under apply if I can help it.

Well I found some basic guidelines at the Artic Silver site (Even thought I was using the plain stuff that came with the heatsink). It is a little different for newer Celeron's and P4's than for AMD XP's.

Thermal grease is just used to fill in the cracks. Don't put too much on, the layer should be thinner than paper.

Try and spread it with a credit card or something. Really thin.

lol, I have used a butter knife before but that is sort of dangerous...
